Summit both Corcovado and Sugar Loaf mountains on this half-day tour in Rio de Janeiro. 

After pickup from your ship, travel through the Tijuca National Forest to get up close with the Christ the Redeemer statue without throngs of people around. After learning about its history from your local guide, move on to Sugar Loaf Mountain for spectacular views of the sprawling city. We will then travel to the top in two steps by cable car. The first will take you to Urca Hill, at the height of 220 meters above sea level where you already will have great views from Baia de Guanabara. From there, after enjoying the views for a bit, will take the second cable car all the way to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, 396 meters above sea level. From up there, you will have a chance to see the most breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro and will definitely understand why everyone says that Rio is “The wonderful city”

IMPORTANT NOTES

• During the months of December through March, ans specially during Carnaval, considered the high season, please allow more time for a complete tour. Even doing our best to avoid lines sometimes the tour get extended and can take longer to finish. Please, plan ahead for any possible delays.

• Approximately from August 2026 until May 2027, the Corcovado venue (the Christ the Redeemer statue) will be under renovation. The tour may take longer and accessibility may be affected.
