Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Tour

Service Description

Summit both Corcovado and Sugar Loaf mountains on this half-day tour in Rio de Janeiro. After pickup from your Rio hotel, travel through the Tijuca National Forest to get up close with the Christ the Redeemer statue without throngs of people around. After learning about its history from your local guide, move on to Sugar Loaf Mountain for spectacular views of the sprawling city. We will then travel to the top in two steps by cable car. The first will take you to Urca Hill, at the height of 220 meters above sea level where you already will have great views from Baia de Guanabara. From there, after enjoying the views for a bit, will take the second cable car all the way to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, 396 meters above sea level. From up there, you will have a chance to see the most breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro and will definitely understand why everyone says that Rio is “The wonderful city” 1 - DEPARTURE AND RETURN INFO For operational reasons our pickup happens only in selected hotels in the neighborhood of Copacabana, Leme, Ipanema and Leblon.  For the morning tour: Pickup starts 30min before the tour, at 7:00am, and goes till 7:30am. For the sfternoon tour: Pickup starts 30min before the tour, at 1:30pm, and goes till 2:00pm. Each hotel have a specific timing according to the it's location.
